Sadly and shockingly, another Sikh has been killed in Wisconsin, who is a sangat member of recent Gurdwara shooting.
However, this could be a fatal robbery attempt; according to this report>

Maybe, it is time for all Sikhs to really be armed to defend at any cost?

This is obvious that the previous killing was not orchestrated by one man. The media kept refering to the killer as a lone wolf. The recent killing was a means for the hate group to send a message the minority groups especially the Gursikhs across the US.

Dalbir Singh was a regular attendee of the Gurdwara where six others were shot to death by a White supremacist terrorist who opened fire there. Whether the killing of Singh can be linked to the shooting at the Gurdwara is still being investigated. The incident took place at night time around 9:10 PM when Dalbir Singh’s store – Harmony Food Store located near 38th and Locust was robbed.

As per police reports, this is a case of attempted robbery. No arrests have been made and Milwaukee police is searching for suspects. Further specifics are yet to be disclosed by the police. The store had CCTV cameras installed and the investigation team is going through the footages to track down the robber.

There is a strong possibility this was done by neo-nazi people. As maybe revenge act for killing the Gurdwara shooter. It seem's very strange that just 3 weeks ago, Sikhs where killed in same district as Dalbir Singh has a couple days ago, surely only a hate driven person could of done this without regards of police patrol and FBI in the areas.... Just my thoughts.

It is surely unusual that this fatal robbery has to occur so soon after Gurdwara shooting, if Bhai Dalbir Singh Ji has had his business for years?
Hopefully local sangat of Wisconsin could do ardas to know why, and what would be good course of action?
But fact remains, that vigilance and readiness to defend oneself at any cost is needed, if we are unarmed, and become the next target>
1)PULL feet of attacker then remove weapon, by quickly sliding on floor (if situation allows, when there are more than one of us during attack)
2)PIN real hard the limb of attacker holding weapon, to physically weaken/ injure limb so weapon could be removed/ released
3)PUSH attacker real hard to cause attacker imbalance, and to fall (with Vaheguroo's kirpa, then weapon could be removed/ released)
Please know that most of such gorey dubdey murakhs (sadly increasing daily) are totally out of touch with the real world, living in their own world of drugs, alcohol, immoral sin (where even their own children are targeted), as most of the gorey here are good God fearing people just like us.

Although after this tragic incident its natural to think that it might be a hate crime since it happened in 10 days of Wisconsin shooting. But in this case the killing was done by a felon, a 16 years old boy ( not white) who has past record of robberies.

This convenient store where Dalbir Singh Ji was killed was not in a good locality and had visible signs of selling Beer and cigarettes. If you want to run a convenient store, you can always opt not to sell cigarettes and alcohal in the store, nobody is holding a gun on your head to sell these products.

Not every crime against Sikhs in a hate crime. The local authorities are investigating more on this incident but looking at the past record of the criminal, a non-white ( repeating it again since we stress a lot on this aspect ?) 16 years old felon with past record of robberies.

My question after this incident is

1) After the wisconsin shooting , will we see every incident minor/major as a hate crome?
2) Is it ok for Gursikhs to run a business selling Alcohal and cigarettes?

We'll know the real reason of the killing once investigation is complete but we shouldn't come to the conclusion without hearing from the local authorities .
