Daswandh has been discussed on this forum a number of time but this is a new query raised by a member of sangat.

Can daswandh be used to support a close family relation (e.g. brother/sister) who is amritdhari gursikh without any income?

Yes. If there is any doubt, then raise this question in the hazoori of your local Sangat.
