Gursikhs frequently mention lotus at the navel as mentioned in gurbani, also Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh has written a book on this subject.
But is there also another mystical lotus in the forehead area?
ਮਸਤਕਿ ਪਦਮੁ ਦੁਆਲੈ ਮਣੀ ॥
The lotus is at the forehead, and the jewels surround it
Is this describing another avastha?
Another thing which has confused me:
ਪੰਚ ਸਬਦ ਨਿਰਮਾਇਲ ਬਾਜੇ ॥
The Panch Shabad, the five primal sounds, resound and vibrate their in their purity
ਢੁਲਕੇ ਚਵਰ ਸੰਖ ਘਨ ਗਾਜੇ ॥
The chauris - the fly brushes wave, and the conch shells blare like thunder.
Bhai sahib has mentioned gurmat anhad shabad is unique but the normal translations here suggest a conch sound as anhad. But another meaning for ਸੰਖ is 1000billion and ਘਨ of course means many or countless. So is the correct meaning countless/many 1000billions vibrate very loudly (ਗਾਜੇ )?
This forum seems to be missing deep spirtual vichaar in recent months, and it would be great to go back to having topics on discussing mystical topics in depth, hearing of unknown sakhis of bhai sahib, translating paragraphs of bhai sahib which will provide deeper gurmat gyaan which inspires more naam abhiyaas.
