Sunn Saakhee

The Bhai Sahib starts with MERE LAAL, HAM PAAPI SHARAN PARRE HAR DUAAR, and then following this, the keertan revolves around "SUNN SAKHEE, MANN JAP PIAAR" shabad. It teaches so much.

I'm sure may will have heard this shabad before, but for those who may not have, each verse refers two or three different Gurmukh and what they accomplished by seeking Guru. Then each last line of the verse does 'Prerna' (request?) to us to do the same... almost as if Guru Sahib saying "Look! Look how these were saved. You TOO can be if you did the same!" Guru Sahib repeats this throughout each verse following too.

The keertani sometimes gives us insight to some of the Gurmukhs mentioned, such as Dhru, or Prehlaad, or Dhanna Ji, by reciting a shabad exploring their sakhia too. It's REALLY insightful.

Ashamedly, I don't know all sakhia behind all the names mentioned. Be wonderful if someone could share info about each person Guruji mentions in this shabad.
