The following post is being discussed on another forum. Has anyone on this site seen the book allegedly written by Brar or can verify whether it is authentic?

As most people know that Lt. Gen K.S Brar, (Gen. of Indian Army under whose command Army attacked Golden Temple) is suffering from cancer. His son has also died...

According to a news report, he has now disclosed what really happened during the Operation Blue Star. In his new book “The blue Star” – “Saka Nila Tara”, he states the following:

Models of Harmander Sahib were built in Himachal Pardesh and Hydrabad and soldiers were trained there.

RSS was continually putting pressure on Indira Gandhi to punish Sant Bhindranwale (Kill him) as he was daily making hundreds of Sikhs Amritdhari. This was considered to be dangerous for India. Indira Gandhi finally agreed.

A few days before the attack, 14 GurSikh soldiers were sent to Santji with an offer of one Arab US Dollar (one Billion US Dollars) to give up by playing the drama of surrender, and then India will help him to get asylum in any country he wished and have that money. But Santji refused and after conveying the message those fourteen soldier decided to join Santji’s force also

Gen. Brar writes that Gen Vadiya gave instructions to attack on Guru Arjan Dev’s martyrdom day to do to kill the maximum number of people – this to teach Sikhs a lesson they will remember for ever. No one is allowed to come out of the Golden temple. But do no harm to the known Akalis who would be inside the temple.

Gen Vadiya also issued instruction that the soldiers were free to attack any building inside the complex – even the Sri Sach Khand Sahib. If any soldier “misbehaved” with women, no action is taken against the soldier.

15307 soldiers of Indian army were killed and 17897 soldiers were wounded. When the Indian army felt like being defeated, a special reinforcement from Delhi was called in, and the tanks were used

Another poster writes:

Firstly the story is old, secondly it is true. How do i know, well in 2010 this book was released for around a week in India and then pulled from the shelves due to the ustat written about sant ji and the shaheed singhs. I only know about it as Sant Hari Singh Ji has two copies of the book which they got in that week it was released. The books would still be intheir personal library at their house. Sant Hari Singh has also done katha on what brab says but i am trying to locate the specific mp3 or video.

Some of the things mentioned in the book,

Brar states he used to suffer from insomnia due to fear, at the time his duty was to work undercover and sit in the sangat while Sant ji would give his lectures. During that time Sant Ji explained that is a person was having trouble sleeping then they should memorise a sakhi from each one of the gurus and think about it before they sleep. This will give them a good nights rest and get rid of any fear or insomnia. Brar states he did this himself and has no issues with sleep after this. here he praises Sant Ji

Regarding blue star he states that he got order from Indera Gandhi to ask Sant Ji is he would accept 1 Arub rupees which at the time was equavelant to around $170 million and safe passage to any country int he world including the UK and US for the rest of his life as long as he didnt preach in the name of Khalistaan. Brar realised he could not convey this message himself so he asked five amritdhari soldiers in uniform to untie their beards and good with the message to Sant Ji. Brar States not only was Sant Ji unmoved by the money and safehavan but his personality and charm was so great that the five army officers never returned to their ranks and instead took up arms under the command of Sant Ji.

There was a load of other extracts which Sant Hari Singh explained to me at the time as they had read the book along with Darshan Singh and were keeping their copies safe. They told me even though Brar tries to continueously put Sant ji down all he ends up doing is praising them more and more

If people are in India I am sure they can ask Sant Hari Singh Ji for a copy of the book as they have a photocopier at their vidiyala.

I assumed this was something everyone was aware of!

People that call Sant Ji a congress agent should rethink their claim.

Those who call Sant jee Congressi or otherwise do Ninda of Sant jee are traitors (Gadhaar) of Panth. They would be punished by Guru Sahib for doing Ninda of such a great Gursikh who sacrificed all for Guru Panth. Government slanders Sant jee, Congressi people slander Sant jee and if some Sikhs also slander Sant jee, then you can clearly see that these so called Sikhs are sharing benches with opponents of Panth. Their destiny would be same as Gadhaars of Panth.

Anyone able to secure the copy of this book? Why not any Sikh TV channel takes an interview with Gen. K.S. Brar?
