Panj shastars in bunga

Some Gursikhs follow a tradition of tying panj mini sarbloh shastars into their bunga before tying a dumalla.

a)What are the benefits of this, and b)what is the technique for doing this (do you use string, thora..)?

Also is there any chance of kesa di beadbi if its tied directly into bunga?

Panj shasters include a bandooka ( long rifle) It is not necessary or possible to make a mini sarab loh bandooka. We should not regard shasters as mere ornaments. There is a maryada when it comes to putting on shastars. The method could be understood by reading gurbilas ( chheva paatshah)reading Sikh history, and talking to Shasterdhari Gurmukhs.
