The answers to Gurbani are not in the power of the average person to behold. In Sikhi, or with anything in life, the best way to reach perfection is to imitate those who have reached perfection in the past. Now, imitating someone like Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh is certainly no easy task, but there is one aspect of Gursikhi that we can copy him. Bhai Sahib's naam kamiyee was unimaginable and unable to express in words, no matter how hard we try, we will not be able to reach the levels that he did. However, one way that we CAN copy Bhai Sahib, and be equal in respects to him is through Rehit. Rehit has a limit, where kamiyee has no limit. If one keeps all outer Rehit's (I.e Sarbloh Bibek, Bana) then they can consitute themselves to have copied Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh in this particular aspect of Sikhi. This, is not an unattainble goal. In fact, this is easily attainable. So the question remains, why have we failed to incorporate Rehit into our lives, when it's the easiest way by which we can immitate Gurmukhs? If we can not immitate the Naam Kamiyee of Gurmukhs, then at the very least, we should be copying their strict devotion to Rehit.

Wonderful thoughts about the importance of Rehit. Indeed we should follow our elder brothers who have reached their spiritual destinations. As Gurman Singh has written, it may be very difficult to right away imitate their Naam Kamaaee but at the very least, the easy things should be done for sure. Rehit is easy to keep and we should strive to keep it. Having got this out of the way, we can fully focus on Naam and Gurbani and get Khushi of Guru Sahib, like this.

Good Thoughts Gurman Singh ji. We should also consider ourlselves lucky to be in situation today to keep rehits. The circumstances under which Bhai Sahib Kept his Rehits wont be easy for us to stay along. We wont be able to keep ourselves from Food just for being unable to do evening Kanga due to NO OIL and much more. I am not sure if person like me can even go without food for a day.

So since we have much easier situations and circumtsances we should grab the chance as long as the Guru is Meharbaan.

Vaheguru jee ka Khalsa Vaheguru jee kee fateh!
