I was sent a few questions which people are confused on regarding things like Simran, Amrit Rass, Khande De Phaul

I feel it would be better to get everyone to answers these questions openly here themselves as there are more knowledge Gursikhs here than me.
I know the answers, but I know others can explain way better.

These questions where raised due to a new modern trend/cult with this new thinking.

1. Real Amrit is obtained via Dasam Duaar so there's no need for Khande De Phaul right?

2. Can Brahmgian can be obtained within 4 years or so in a University Brahmgiani Course?

3. Is Khande Phaul, is it necessary as the real way is Naam Simran only?

4. Passing through the tats (elements) of the body causing shaking and also extreme fits is normal whilst doing Simran?
(No Gursikhs had ever mentioned such experiences)

5. Can Amrit Rass can it be experienced without be Amritdhari

6. Not much attention need to be paid to Rehat & Nitnem as the real way is Naam Simran?

I think before answering those questions as most on this forum will know the answers - why not ask yourself/ourselves a question ??? and that is

how and why such modern thinking exists and those questions are raised in the first place??? until this is answered properly there is no point answering those questions 1-6 as answers will delude the modern people even further don't u think?

Having "Khade Di Pahul" means having initiation into any sort of spirituality, through the process approved by Guru Nanak Guru Gobind Singh. Those who do not feel proud of making relation into Guru Gobind Singh's close family, can try any sort of damn things.

2. Can Brahmgian can be obtained within 4 years or so in a University Brahmgiani Course?

Brahmgian is more of a blessing and less of the efforts. It may happen in four seconds or in four centuries. It happens once a while in decades. It had been more common sense of those people offering this course, to call it as University Course in Divinity.

3. Is Khande Phaul, is it necessary as the real way is Naam Simran only?

Who says NAAM SIMRAN is the real way, it is always said as NAAM SIMRAN through GURU.

4. Passing through the tats (elements) of the body causing shaking and also extreme fits is normal whilst doing Simran?

And they may also call a person under fits, as enjoying AMRIT from DASAM DUAAR.

5. Can Amrit Rass can it be experienced without be Amritdhari?

Those who want to try it other way, can try it anyway.They do not like to be called Amritdhari Khalsa of Guru Nanak Dev Sahib Ji.

Crops need management. Naam Simran is not purely mechanical repetition. It needs proper nutrition and management.

ns Veer Ji, the questions about Dasam Duaar, Brahm Gyan are not questions of the modern educated mind. These are from lazy, uneducated folks, who do not read Gurbani themselves, but get swayed by the utterances of so called Babas. The so called "modern mind" does not like to be bothered about Amrit and Naam Simran; because it needs freedom from any sort of shackles. If young men do not talk about Amrit, they will also not talk about Naam Simran. So, these questions are not of modern educated minds, in general.

The persons who do not read Gurbani, but visit Deras raise such type of questions. It is so because, Dera people want them to get attached with Dera and not with Gurbani or Amrit. They want maximum number of people visiting them, so they minimize restrictions.

First thought that arose after reading these questions (questions addresses to those who question the establishment of Amrit transformation ceremony:

Is my Guru so stupid that he would himself kneel in front of the Punj Pyare, BEG for Amrit and trade his entire family, wealth and worldly position for it? Dasam Patshah did exactly this to be given the HONOR of becoming a SINGH and even accepted a Tankah for a transgression he committed (to test the Sikhs) from the Punj Pyare and was never above their decision or the Rehat.

And yet, Banta Singh and Santa Kaur are who exactly to question the necessity of Amrit when the Guru himself partook of it and set the supreme example for all Sikhs to follow? First explain how it is possible that the Guru himself made himself subject to being given Amrit after begging for it and yet how you (the ones questioning Amrit requirements) are exempt from it. Are you (questioners) somehow superior to Dasam Patshah?

If so, please found a new religion and move on.

Whatever the questions - if they ask questions then ask them questions back instead of giving them answers.issue is if you give these answers back they will ask more and try and twist the very essence of Sikhism and it's roots.Then you risk getting embrolied in their questions which will in turn effect your jeevan of Gursikhe. So therefore I would ask the following questions back to them:

1. Why do you question Amrit and Dhan dhan Gursikhe ??
2. Why do you question Bhram Gian and narrow and bring down such high avastha states to mean nothing?
3.Why do you question khandee de paul - we love our Guru and accept everthing ordained as rehit why do you question what is your motive?
4.your having fits doing naam simran without khande de paul -- your asking for trouble - why not try khande de paul and see ?
5.why do you ask of amrit rass if you don't want to be amritdhari as per question on eeverything on amritdhari
6.you can cary on the motorway you want to be or join the motorway of Guru Gobind Singh jee choice is yours not ours or anyone elses.

Lastly tell them you pray for their well being everyday to as per ardaas of tere bhane sarbat da bhalla - -ask them t o join you and forget all questions - sikhe is a game of love - come with your head on your plate nothing else period.
