This Gurmukh works in Government. He tries to chant Naam all the time. He is mostly seen either chanting Naam or reciting Gurbani. His consciousness also stays in some spiritual realms. Once, one of his colleague got caught while accepting bribe. He was prosecuted and the Gurmukh was asked to stand as witness in court.
On the day of Peshi in court, the Gurmukh was imbued in divine colours of Naam but he was taken by force to the court to stand witness. He was standing in the witness box, with eyes closed and Japping Naam, within. The judge asked him to speak the true account of what happened that day when his colleague was caught accepting bribe.
Gurmukh jee kept quiet, as if he was not listening.
The judge said, "Please state the truth, Baba jee".
Gurmukh jee kept quiet.
"Come on Baba jee, speak the truth".
Gurmukh jee kept quiet.
"Speak the truth".
Gurmukh jee stayed quiet.
"SPEAK THE TRUTH".
"SPEAK THE TRUTH".
"SPEAK THE TRUTH".
This was too much for the Gurmukh to sustain. He went wild uttering, "VAHEGURRUU" "VAHEGURRRROOOO", "VAHEGURRRROOOO" "VAHEGURRRROOOO" "VAHEGURRRROOOO" "VAHEGURRRROOOO".
"THIS ALONE IS THE TRUTH".
Saying this he got off the witness stand. The judge, the prosecution, the defense and all others were dumbfounded.
