State Benefits

There are many types of benefits available from the governement in order to help support families. Such examples are EMA and JOB SEEKERS ALLOWANCE. I am highlighting these examples because they target younger people. Are these acceptable for sikhs? because the money has not been earned through kirat kamai...

I'm not sure what these are, but any social service by the government is allowed since we pay for them through taxes. That is why we shouldn't lie on their tax returns. If we give less to the government than we are supposed to, than we are in essence stealing from them by using free services like child-care, public transport, health care (American's wouldn't understand this reference) etc, we are putting the burden on people who pay their fair share in taxes.
