ਅਬ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਦਾਸ ਭਾਟ ਕੀ ਲਾਜ ||

ੴਸਤਿਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ

In our everyday lives, we make countless mistakes. Only Satguroo Mahaaraaj is JaananHaar and knows how many mistakes and which mistakes we have committed. On top of that, Satguroo is Mahaan Kirpaaloo, and Sadaa Bakhshnhaar.

If we are in a grieve sitaution, and we are entangled, that there seems no way, we can always turn to Mahaaraaj for answers, and save our honor, both here and the hereafter.

A beautiful Shabad has popped into head while I was in a similar situation. I was all worried about what would happen, but suddenly Satguroo jee reassured me, and sent me this Shabad to calm down:

ਅਬਰਾਖਹੁਦਾਸਭਾਟਕੀਲਾਜ||
ਜੈਸੀਰਾਖੀਲਾਜਭਗਤਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦਕੀਹਰਨਾਖਸਫਾਰੇਕਰਆਜ||
ਫੁਨਿਦ੍ਰੋਪਤੀਲਾਜਰਖੀਹਰਿਪ੍ਰਭਜੀਛੀਨਤਬਸਤ੍ਰਦੀਨਬਹੁਸਾਜ||

ਸ੍ਰੀਸਤਿਗੁਰਸੁਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਕਲਜੁਗਹੋਇਰਾਖਹੁਦਾਸਭਾਟਕੀਲਾਜ||੮||੧੨||

The above Shabad appears on Ang 1400 by Bhatt Nal jee. Bhatt Nal jee has in the first Pankti prays to Satguroo Mahaaraaj to please save his honor, then below he gives amazing examples and reassures us that if are in a gruesome and horrible condition and situation, we will be saved by Vaheguroo as He is ever forgivable.

1) Bhatt jee starts by first giving the example of Bhagat Prahlaad jee, and how he was saved from Harnaakhsh the Hankaari by Narsingh, who was a form of Vaheguroo. Narsingh saved Prahlaad jee from the clutches of Harnaakhsh the Hankaari.

2) Secondly, Bhatt Sahib jee gives an even bigger example of Dropti, who was a female character that appears in Mahabharat. Dropti was to be unclothed under strict orders by one of the kings, and later on, raped. But Dropti was saved from all this because she remembered Vaheguroo and prayed to Him to save her. The person who was trying to unravel Dropti's clothes, was hit with astonishment, when he saw there was no end to her clothes. Such is the Karaamaat of Vaheguroo.

3) Then Bhatt jee gives examples of Sudama and Ganika. Sudama was a childhood friend of Siri Krishna jee. Sudama was a low man in terms of wealth, while Siri Krishna jee grew up to be a wealthy king. When the two friends met all grown up, Siri Krishna jee expressed his desire to visit Sudama jee, after Sudama had visited Siri Krishna jee. Sudama was worried about what his childhood friend think of him, who is now a king of some country, when he sees that his friend (Sudama) had not excelled financially. But Vaheguroo jee even saved Sudama jee's honor by turning his hut into the same mansion that Siri Krishna jee lived in.

4) Finally, there is the example of Ganika. Ganika literally means prostitute. Although, no real name has been for this woman, Vaheguroo protected her from the hall of shame, when she was approached by a Sadhoo. Ganika in her youth committed many sinful adulterous activities. But when old age hit, she was all used up, ruined with shame and misery. No one wanted to visit her, and on top that, she was carrying the load of sins on her head. Suddenly, a great Sadhoo happened to come across her home, and told her that he needed a place to spend the night. Ganika allowed him. However, she was amazed by the amazing and amusing character of this Sadhoo. Never in her life had she come across any spirituality. Never had she given thought to worshipping Vaheguroo. But when she saw this Sadhoo drenched in the love of Vaheguroo, she also expressed a desire to become like him. When his time came to leave, she requested him to stay a bit longer.But the Sadhoo man could not fulfill her request, as he had no home, and was always travelling from one place to another. He thought of trick that could help save Ganika in the hereafter. He had a parrot with him at the time, and he handed that parrot to Ganika. He told Ganika that she was to teach the parrot to say "Raam, Raam". Now this parrot was very slow with learning, and great time and effort was to be spend while trying to teach the parrot. Ganika agreed and happily took the parrot. Now every morning, she would try her best to teach the parrot to say "Raam,Raam". Notice here, Raam is one of Kirtam names for Vaheguroo, although not the Gurmantar, it only has the benefit it would provide. One can not of course reach Sachkhand, but still there is some progress spiritually, and hopefully maybe a step towards becoming a Sikh one day.
As Ganika engaged herself in teaching the parrot how to say "Raam", she learned that this word seemed sweet to her, and the more she said it, the more she enjoyed it, and the more spiritual pleasure she received from saying "Raam". This way, her many sins from not just her present life, but also from previous lives were washed, and she became a new born person. Her honor was also saved in here and the hereafter.

5) In conclusion, Siri Bhatt jee ends off by saying Siri Satgur jee has blessed Kaljug because it is Kaljug where Satguroo came in the physical form. What Bhatt jee is saying that the above examples given are of those who weren't even under the Sharan of Satgur jee, and yet even then, their honors were saved. And here in Kaljug, we are blessed to have Darshan of Mahaaraaj, come under his Sharan, and have Him protecting us in every step of the way. He finishes off by saying doing a humble bentee to Siri Satgur jee to please save his honor too.

Such is the humility in Gursikhs, such is the Kirpaa of Mahaaraaj. Such is the effect of Gurbaanee. Vaheguroo jee.

Bhulan Chukan dee khimaa bakhshnee.

Vaheguroo.

Excellent post Jaspreet Singh jeeo!

Siri Satguru jee did not just start existing in 1469. Siri Satguru jee has always been here and in olden yugs, whenever the honour of Bhagats was kept, it was always kept by Siri Satguru jee. Siri Satguru jee was working behind the scenes. Any power that the Avatars like Narsingh, Siri Krishna or others had, was given by Siri Satguru jee. When Siri Satguru jee pulled His power, the Avatars too fell.

Kaljug is blessed because Siri Satguru jee appeared Himself to save the world. May Guru Sahib always keep us in his Sharan.
