PREMI CULTISTS ASSAULT AMRITDHARI SIKH YOUTH

SOURCE: PSN | Published on May 9, 2011

LEHARGAGA, PUNJAB - In yet another incident that will further enrage the sentiments of the Sikh community, residents of the southern town of Chadpura discovered that followers of Sauda cultist Ram Raheem humiliated and assaulted a young Amritdhari Sikh boy and forcibly sheared of his sacred kes (hair) .

Sikhs consider kes as a gift from God, and do not remove them from their body under any circumstances.

On May 6th of 2011, Sauda cult follower Tarsem Sinh forcibly took Balwinder Singh, age 12 to his nearby shop, and attacked and dishonored the young boy with the help of other cultist “premis”. When the boy resisted the assault, they began to beat him, and then began to shear of his kes with a pair of sharp scissors. The boy suffered several cuts on his head due to the altercation, in which the sacred hair from his head were removed.

When Balwinder Singh reached home, his mother, Charanjit Kaur fainted upon seeing her son in this condition. Neighbors soon arrived to help the family – they were all shocked to see what had just occurred. The Charanjit Kaur and her husband Makhan Singh have approached Gurdwara Sangatpur Sahib Management and other Sikh organizations for help in this matter. The Punjab police, so far, has not taken any action against the premi cultists.

The family stated that the Jakhal Police station initially tried to cover-up the incident, and only filed the complaint paperwork after realizing the threat of action by Sikh organizations. Jakhal Police SHO, Dilbagh Singh has hinted that the police would take action against the cultists Tarsem Singh, son of Rangi Singh and two of his accomplices.

Interestingly, in 2007, Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the Supreme Temporal and Religious Authority for the Sikhs ordered all Sauda Cult Dera be shutdown throughout Punjab.

The ruling Akali Dal (Badal) party has yet to take action against the cult deras, despite the death of several Sikhs due to the ongoing tension between the cultists and the Sikh community.

The sight of the Amritdhari Bhujangi with cut hair is one of the most frightening sights I have seen. It is worse than dying. Now it's in the hands of Siri Guru Kalgidhar Paatshah jee who must enable his Khalsa to defend against attacks on Sikhi.

There is a Saakhi from the times of Siri Guru Gobind Singh jee, whereby Singhs developed a bit of Haume (ego) and thought that they were winning because of their own power. Soon they got into a fight with the hill chieftains and started losing ground to the enemy. Guru Sahib was quietly watching the battle scene from the top of a hill. Soon Singhs realized their folly and then came to Siri Guru Dasmesh jee and begged for strength. That's when Guru Sahib gave them the reason for their loss and subsequently when they begged for mercy, Guru Sahib intervened and within seconds the tide reversed in the favour of Singhs. Singhs won the battle, with the Kirpa of Guru Sahib.

Time has come that we realize that we are nothing and are totally helpless. Time has come for us to beg for forgiveness of our mistakes and for Guru Sahib to intervene. Otherwise, we are finished. Guru Sahib must intervene.

in my opinion none of those sikhs will ever get justice...the indian governement wants these type of things to happen...so does the police, the police wont do anything.

If gursikhs knew how to fight and where shastardhari then no one would ever darre to touch them...but sadly these days the art of shastar vidya is lost..and the only form of protection we have is gatka which is not that helpful.....

i wish that there would be more gursikhs that would teach the true shastar vidya the gursikhs used to learn back in the day....so we can actually learn to protect ourselves

Through Bhai Daya Singh Jis rehatnama, Guru Sahib has given each Sikh
the Hukum to learn shaster Vidhya. Unfortunately, I have not been able to
fulfill this requirement due to a torn knee. In addition, as you mentioned the teaching
of Shaster Vidhya in this Kaljug has become a rare commodity.

But this is not to say the ancient art of teaching how to use weapons is instinct
The spiritual essence of Shaster Vidhya can be discovered in searching Gurbani, and Khalsa Maryada.
For example, how in the world can we learn Gurmat Shaster Vidhya if we dont have satkar for Sri Sahib. Guru Sahib himself has said he is a slave to Sarab Loh ( Sri Sahib)

ਮਹਾਕਾਲ ਰਖਵਾਰ ਹਮਾਰੋ ॥ ਮਹਾ ਲੋਹ ਮੈਂ ਕਿੰਕਰ ਥਾਰੋ ॥

Yet we neglect rehat of Sarab Loh Bibek. How in the world can we wield Sarab Lohi Sri Sahib if we dont have respect for
Sarab Loh (Sri Sahib)?

We take Amrit bear Sri Sahib and treat it as a mere ornament which has no spiritual significance. Sri Sahib is given to just anyone and there is no stress on giving sakaar to Sri Sahib/Sarab Loh. According to Bhai Randhir Singh Ji, the wonderful works of Sri Sahib only come into effect when in the hands of RehatVan AmritDhari Singh who shows respect to Sri Sahib.
Gurmat Leykh
Bhai Sahib, also mentions respect doesnt amount to Hindi Rituals like putting tilak blood on shasters. This is pure manmat.

Gurmat Leykh

The works of Akal Purakh Sahib will never manifest into any sword which is handled by anyone who indulges in false rituals especially centered around Sri Sahib Ji.

ਕਰਮ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਸਮ ਕਰੇ
Do actions which are in relation to Akal Purakh.
Bhai Daya Singh Ji

The mechanical/physical aspect of Shaster Vidya is thousands of years old and was practiced by the Khatri Caste. Guru HarGobind Sahib Ji also taught the mechanics of this ancient art to his Sikhs. In addition, the spiritual discipline and Gurmat qualities was added to this art. The mechanical aspect of this art still exist in some parts of the world today. FOr example, thousands of years ago a Buddhist monk by the name of Buddhabhadra went to China and taught Shaster VIdhya . THis art still exist amongst the Shaolin monks who spend their entire day in prayers and shaster vidhya ( WaaheGuru!). Here is an exhibition performed by them.

Bhai Uptej Singh Ji from UK seems like he has knowledge of Shaster Vidhya.

In Punjab, Singhs are easily harrassed like the boy above because they have lost the Warrior Praupakaree ( saintly) Spirit. People are willing to turn a blind eye to injustice as long as they or there loves ones ( family) are not effected.

Another reason why such injustices occur is because we have anti-panthic elements like the NaamDharis who
are trying to turn ShasterDhari Singhs into SitarDhari Singhs, and we have some changing KharagDhari SInghs into
KIrtani Dhari Singhs!
