There is nothing wrong in sleeping after doing your Amritvela. Many times, after an intense Amritvela, when one sleeps Japping Naam, sometimes one gets very good spiritual dreams.
Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh jee used to tell Gursikhs who go to job, to get some sleep before going to work, so that they may do their job diligently.
