When I was in India in 2009, I visited Gurdwara Jhoolde Mahal. In the grounds of the Gurdwara Sahib, there is a thick wall about 12-15 ft high, that moves when Sangat sit on top and repeat Gurmantar.
I believe the wall was built during Guru Arjan Dev Jis time after Mughal elephants passed through this area and some of the sangat stood up to look and commented on how they were moving from side to side. Guru Ji said that this show is not permanent but the walls will move in this place forever, 'Kandha vi Sadhaa Jhoold dia rehan giyaa'.'
Can anyone verify whether the wall moves of its own accord or if it moved by the Giani that stands at the bottom of the narrow steps leading to the top of the wall?
