ਮਾਇਆ ਮਨਹੁ ਨ ਵੀਸਰੈ ਮਾਂਗੈ ਦੰਮਾਂ ਦੰਮ ॥

ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਚਿਤਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਹੀ ਕਰੰਮਿ ॥19॥

In his mind, the mortal does not forget Maya; he begs for more and more wealth.
That God does not even come into his consciousness; O Nanak, it is not in his karma. ||19||

ਦੰਮਾਂ ਦੰਮ Is it more and more wealth or asking with each breath. Veer Kulbir Singh Ji, please clarify. Though the meaning is almost same, yet what ਦੰਮਾਂ ਦੰਮ means here.

is it karma or karam(kirpa)? as there is a sihari on the mamma.
