Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguro Ji ki Fateh
Dass has been confused about the letter "ਫ"
Dass first learned from Taksalee Gursikhs and learned that "ਫ" should be pronounced as "Phapa" and that "ਫ" with Bindi was pronounced Fafa. However still all Taksalee Gursikhs while reading Gurbanee pronounced it as Fafa, which broke their own rules since they do not believe in adding Bindi's while reciting Gurbanee. Most Keertanee's and Pathees I have listend to pronounce it as Fafa every single time.
In the Santhiya files no indication has been made for the "ਫ" to having a Bindi or not, thus do we pronounce it Fafa everytime? Phapha everytime? Either?
