ਮੂਸਨ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਮੂਸੀਐ ਬਿਸਰਤ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਇਆਲ ॥੭॥

ਜਦੋਂ ਘਬੁ (ਘਰ) ਜਾਂ ਦਬੁ (ਦਰਬ, ਦੌਲਤ) ਸੜ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਵਿਚ ਮਨੁਖ ਬੇਹਾਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਲੁਟਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਫੁਰਮਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਅਸਲ ਵਿਚ ਜੀਵ ਉਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਲੁਟਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਇਆਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਵਿਸਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Hearing of You, my body and mind have blossomed forth; chanting the Naam, the Name of the Lord, I am flushed with life.

By what virtues can I meet the Lord of life, O my mother? ||1||Pause||
I have no beauty, understanding or strength; I am a stranger, from far away. ||1||
I am not wealthy or youthful. I am an orphan - please, unite me with Yourself. ||2||
Searching and searching, I have become a renunciate, free of desire. I wander around, searching for the Blessed Vision of God's Darshan. ||3||
God is Compassionate, and Merciful to the meek; O Nanak, in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, the fire of desire has been quenched. ||4||1||118||

I am a minstrel of the Lord God, my Lord and Master; I have come to the Lord's Door.

The Lord has heard my sad cries from within; He has called me, His minstrel, into His Presence.

The Lord called His minstrel in, and asked, ""Why have you come here?""

"O Merciful God, please grant me the gift of continual meditation on the Lord's Name."

And so the Lord, the Great Giver, inspired Nanak to chant the Lord's Name, and blessed him with robes of honor. ||21||1||Sudh||

Neither there is, nor there will be an ungrateful person like me.
None is there subsisting on evil means and a wicked person like me.
No slanderer is there like me carrying on his head the heavy stone of the slander of the Guru.
No one is a savage apostate like me turning away from the Guru.
None other is an evil person like me who has enmity with persons having no hostility.
No treacherous person equals me whose trance is like crane’s who picks up fish for food.
My body, ignorant of Lord’s name, eat inedibles and the layer of stony sins on it cannot be taken off.
No bastard is like me who repudiating the wisdom of the Guru has deep attachment with wickedness.
Though my name is disciple, I have never reflected upon the Word (of the guru) 29.

How did you get the meaning of "With God's Name" when the Paath is "ਬਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ"?

Shouldn't the meaning be "Without Hari Naam, (anything else) is of no use (ਕਾਮ ਨਹਿ ਆਵੈ)?
