Protests against Dastar ban in France

Students from Gursikh Phulwari Public School hold a protest in Patiala on International Human Rights Day against ‘inaction’ on the turban issue in France, on Friday.

Why is the UN a sham? They told France to change this law in 2008. If France declines, what can the UN do? Shouldn't our outrage be focused on France?

Good point Bhain jeeo. The target of protest should be France and not the UN.

France is the most ungrateful country I can think of. Countless Sikhs gave their lives for defending this ungrateful country and when they fought for France during the two World Wars, they did so while wearing their turbans. My own grandfather served in France in the first world war and so did countless other Gursikhs. And today, France has forgotten their past and have banned turban in their country. This is huge bad Karma they are incurring. May Vaheguru give them some wisdom.
