Sangat jio, I have started this thread because Daas has noticed many anti-sikh practices going on in the Panth.
We have fallen so much, including Daas, that we have forgotten what Guru Maharaj has said. Guru Maharaj has openkly spoke out to His Sikhs:
Jab Eh Gahai Bipran Ki Reet
Mein Na Karon In Ki Parteet
By 'Bipran Ki Reet', Guru Sahib meant anything anti-panthic, anything wrong, basically BAHMANWAAD. But it seems Sikhs have forgotten that and even chosen to ignore it and not care that Guru Sahib is saying we're equal to Bahmans if we do anti-Sikh practices. We seem to not care or worry about our identity!
Examples would be:
1) Not saying Fateh to a fellow Singh-Singhnee because "you dont know them" or "you have no relation whatsoever with them". (If such feelings/thoughts is not BAHMANPUNA, then what else is it?)
2) Forgetting we are Sikhs of the Guru and going on with what the mind has to say. ie purposely letting the 5 thieves(Kaam, Krodh, Lobh, Moh, Hankaar) take over.
3) Choosing to ignore certain Panktian of GurBaani and Rehataan of Guru Maharaj, purposely!
4) Saying doing a certain thing is OK even though it is forbidden.
5) Caring more about wordly relationships, such as relatives, freinds, and stuff and not caring about the relationship with God, WaheGuru.
6) Laughing at those that follow Rehat and do and strive to live by every Hukam of Baani.
7) Thinking that there are variations or different types of Sikhi, one is a lose one and the other is a strict one to try to implement that its not nice or necessary to go deep in GurSikhi, and you should just stay at a level where everyone is comfortable with, because these people scared of losing and breaking with others, meaning they have no faith in WaheGuru.
8) Choosing to waste time purposely, when that time could be used to read Baani, do Naam Abyaas, do Sangat of Singhs-Singhnees.
9) Finding a way out to not do bhagti.
The above were just some examples that Sikhs of today have shamelessly aquired and dont care either. I cant believe such stuff is openly expressed, preached, taught and no one says anything against it. Such shameless Sikhs of today are misleading those that want to learn about GurSikhi or are new to the path of GurSikhi. Guru Sahib sumat bakhshan!
Some even go to the point of judging those that are far greater than them, ie Naam-Kamaai wise, but dont really have anything themselves. Daas cant believe such nindya is accepted today in Panth. Panth was so united, but because our own shameless actions, we have fallen. We're all stuck in Maya, and we let it go, meaning dont care. We let maya take over, and ruin us. May Guru Sahib have mercy!
