Doing path from sanchiyaa

I hav a question about doing path from sanchiya
when you do path and finish for the day do you have to put the sanchiya in their clothes, or you can just leave them there?

Veer Jee, how can one just leave Gutka Sahib or Senchi Sahib of Gurbani open and unattended like that!? This is potential for massive beadbi, always put back in rumallas and store in clean, safe and respectful place.

It's best to Santokh the Pothis. It is not appropriate to go for even 10 seconds and leave the Pothi Sahib open on the Rale. It should be closed and covered if one is going for such short time but when done with Paath, one should Santokh it i.e. wrap it in Rumaala Sahib and place it at an appropriate Asthaan, with full respect.
