Significance of dong langar de seva

Posted by harinder_singh
I was told this sakhi by a very gurmukh singh. Once Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh jee visited a Nihang Chaunni in Sri Anandpur Sahib. It was early morning and Bhai Sahib saw a Nihang Singh sitting cross-legged in his tent and doing Vaheguru Vaheguru.... He was in complete anand with his eyes and head raised upwards.
Bhai Sahib on seeing this told his fellow singh that this Nihang is a Dasam Duaari. In his previous life, he was a Nihang Singh and did immense langar de seva. He used to prepare langar day and night. Even in scorching summer heat, he used to do langar de seva. As a result of his Langar Seva, Dashmesh Pita blessed him with Dasam Duar in this life.

bhaisahabh ji , this sakhi is really chardi kala, but it is a little incomplete.no doubt, that singh was of great avastha not in previous life but in that present life only.when singhs asked bhai sahabh ,bhai sahabh praise and told that AKAL PURAKH is pleased over this singh not only by his immense seva but also the fact ,this singh used to eat his langar after serving every single person in dera and also sometimes there was no langar left and this singh would sleep hungary

das khima da jhachak hai

Vaah! There are so many such Saakhis of Bhai Sahib jee that need to be preserved. Doing Seva while doing Simran is the key to attaining Vaheguru.

Doing seva and simran at the same time is an excellent idea. This is key to make one's mind cleaner from the filth that has accumulated over many Janams.
