Many people (including many sikhs) try to compare Guru Nanak Dev Jee with Ram and Krishan. But this comparison is actually a nindiya of Guru Sahib. Ram and Krishan were avataars of Vishnu and Vishnu is DECEIVED BY MAYA.
Guru on the other hand is All-powerful and can easily defeat Maya and liberate His followers. Below are the Gurbani Pankitis highlighting this.
ਐਸੀ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਇਕ ਰਾਮਿ ਉਪਾਈ ॥
Such is Maya, the woman, which the One Lord has created.
ਉਨਿ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਖਾਇਆ
ਹਮ ਗੁਰਿ ਰਾਖੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
She is devouring the whole world,
but the Guru has saved me, O my Siblings of Destiny. ||Pause||
ਪਾਇ ਠਗਉਲੀ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਜੋਹਿਆ ॥
Administering her poisons, she has overcome the whole world.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਬਿਸਨੁ ਮਹਾਦੇਉ ਮੋਹਿਆ ॥
She has bewitched
Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.

ਸਰਪਨੀ ਤੇ ਊਪਰਿ ਨਹੀ ਬਲੀਆ ॥
No one is more powerful than the she-serpent Maya,
ਜਿਨਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਬਿਸਨੁ ਮਹਾਦੇਉ ਛਲੀਆ ॥1॥
who deceived even
Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. ||1||

ਮੁਨਿ ਜੋਗੀ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰਗਿ ਕਹਾਵਤ ਸਭ ਕੀਨ੍ੇ ਬਸਿ ਅਪਨਹੀ ॥
They call themselves silent sages, Yogis and scholars of the Shaastras, but Maya has has them all under her control.
ਤੀਨਿ ਦੇਵ ਅਰੁ ਕੋੜਿ ਤੇਤੀਸਾ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਹੈਰਤਿ ਕਛੁ ਨ ਰਹੀ ॥1॥
The three gods, and the 330,000,000 demi-gods, were astonished. ||1||
ਬਲਵੰਤਿ ਬਿਆਪਿ ਰਹੀ ਸਭ ਮਹੀ ॥
The power of Maya is pervading everywhere.
ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਜਾਨਸਿ ਕੋਊ ਮਰਮਾ ਗੁਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਲਹੀ ॥1॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Her secret is known only by
Guru's Grace - no one else knows it. ||1||Pause||
