For you He left His family, His son, His wife
For you He didn’t hesitate to sacrifice His life
For you He courted arrest, and suffered all tortures
To fill your life with the roses of happiness, and joy filled orchards
For you He saw His Sikhs sawn and boiled
The hands of the Mughals with blood were soiled
For you He refused all pleasures and comforts
And accepted the pains that can shake all hearts
For you He rejected proposals of wealth
So that your generations could thrive in health
For you He sacrificed His body and His head
So that you could live fearlessly and earn your bread
Have you forgotten all He has done
His people you made the object of fun
Have you forgotten the legacy of His martyrdom
that to the oppression of His people you act deaf and dumb?
Have you forgotten His sacrifice, oh so complete!
That today His message for you has become totally obsolete!
Have you forgotten that He is your saviour
Or the Mughals would do to you what else but devour
Forget not the One who saved you
Protected your honor and carried you through
Forget not the One who took all the pains
Death for Himself, for you all the gains
Forget not the One who had His head severed
Today His people are mocked by you, instead of being revered
Wake up my dear, before its too late
Your silence and indifference is ruining your own fate
Wake up my dear, or you will pay a cost
Hatred will fume and all love will be lost
Wake up my dear, and recognize this fact
What He did for you was an ultimate act!
Wake up my dear, wake up and bow down
Bow down to the Master of Sikhs, the Sikhs whom you labeled a clown
Wake up my dear, and say after me
Say with your heart and you will be free

My Village
Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Miri Piri Hero
Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Halat Palat swarey Jeo
Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur, thundering light in Kaljugs oppressive night.
Thundering Voice "Husband-Lord of Life"
Provides comfort to mourning fear-driven wife
Father of blissful joy. Sanctuary to orphan and oppressed children.
One day child-like pandits fled to the Gurus celestial sanctuary for his company.
Covered completely with sweat and a weakness of breath
the poor children began to weep and take refuge and the Gurus Holy Feet.
Holding tight on the Gurus feet they sincerely prayed "please grants us with more and more days
please prevent us from following Islamic Ways"
Merciful Guru Ji heard the cries of the poor children and addressed their worries.
Great Guru replied " God is One. True is his Name. I love his game"
Compassionate and illuminating Guru Ji further spoke, and with his words silence broke.
Words of the Guru sprang life in the breath of each and every present Brahmin.
After receiving the strength of breath the Brahmin children asked their heavenly father " Are you going to face Death?"
Great Guru laughed at the thought of death, and replied
" Where there is fear there is death, Where there is courage there is life"
The kind and most merciful Guru further replied
" The pain of hell resides where there is oppression. The path to eternal bliss exists in the opposition to oppression "
Bringing Satjug into th Kaljug hearts of the Kasminri Pandits the Brahmins became full with celestial joy.
Now every shelterless, orphaned, and oppressed child come to the Gurus celestial City for everlasting joy.
Brahmins asked most Benevolent Guru Ji "what is this place?"
Guru replied this is the place where time has no trace.
The City of Akal, Raam , Allah....
All are welcome in seeking Guru Jis protection!
Some Brahmins left their former caste, and committed themselves to fulfilling Guru Jis divine task.
Guru Ji told these servants " wherever you go whether it be Australia. Africa, America, Arabia, or Asia,
continue to spread Anandpurs ageless nature
They left Anandpur, strapped with weapons for the future war.
Those children who recieved Naam abiding breath
recited GuRu GuRu GuRu with each and every breath
craving the taste of death.
