Two BoatsThere are two boats which we can board on in this life......
A boat of a ManmukhA Manmukh’s boat is shaky, while it travels through its journey on the ocean (life). The boat is luxurious with many expensive items this is one’s attachment to Maya. While it travels on the ocean it see’s islands with treasure and wishes to have it by any means. Day & night one works for false profit. There are many lighthouses (chances to be saved) but it is not in his karma to be saved in this lifetime. Only Vaheguroo will save the soul once one has paid there debts. Some boats are trapped in a whirlpool constantly, but Vaheguroo is merciful and eventually one will come out of such traps.
ਘੂਮਨਘੇਰਅਗਾਹਗਾਖਰੀਗੁਰਸਬਦੀਪਾਰਿਉਤਰੀਐਰੇ॥2॥
Some boats will have set out there sail but there anchor is stuck in the ground and without meeting the Poora Satguroo. It will stay stuck and be unable to move towards the lighthouse (Vaheguroo). ਪਗੁਨਹੀਚਲੈਹਰਿਹਾਂ ॥.
Such boats may be plundered by the 5 pirates; they board the ship and rob one of everything. One may be captured and held hostage by the pirates. ਮੁਹਨਿ ਪਰਾਈ ਲਖਿਮੀ ਠਗ ਚੋਰ ਚਗਾਰੇ॥.
Now let’s look at Boat of a Sanmukh/GurmukhA Gurmukh’s boat is steady and calm on the fierce currents of the ocean. Its sail is set towards the lighthouse (vaheguroo). It does Ardas and Satguru blows the wind for sail to commence forward to the lighthouse. It may see rocks and huge waves but these are over come, by meditating on Gurmat Naam & Banee. ਮੇਰਾਮਨੁਤਨੁਸਬਦਿਵਿਗਾਸਿਆਜਪਿਅਨਤਤਰੰਗਾ.
The boat will feel the love of Vaheguroo, ਅਨਤਤਰੰਗਭਗਤਿਹਰਿਰੰਗਾ. The boat then will start looking a lot brighter and illuminous. While on its journey it may attract other people in the Bikh Sansaar because of the splendid light glowing from the boat. The other boatmen/women will be inspired & starting setting the sail towards the Lighthouse. ਆਪਿਦ੍ਰਿੜੈਅਵਰਹਨਾਮੁਜਪਾਵੈ.
Pirates can’t plunder this ship it is an Iron fortress of Naam/Banee. If they do try, then the Gurmukh will blow the cannons back for defence (Jaaping Naam/Banee) ਬੋਲੈਪਵਨਾਗਗਨੁਗਰਜੈ.
As the boat travels its journey, it will leave ripples in the ocean, which are vibrating Naam

The boat is very clean and looked after, everything is tidy this discipline (keeping rehat) is done daily by the beloved Gurmukh.
The yatra of this life is Sufal, one merges with Creator after along trip through vast oceans. ਜੋਤਉਕੀਨੇਆਪਣੇਤਿਨਾਕੂੰਮਿਲਿਓਹਿ.
