Many people are ignorant to Bhai Randheer Singh Jee's Last Days in this world

They suggest he suffered greatly and mention other so called "facts"

Some of them prevailed on this forum over the past week or two.

Daas wanted to provide some clarification jeeo. Bhul Chukaa Muaaf Karneeaa. Sangat Bakhshanhaar Hai

Autobiography of Bhaee Sahib Bhaee Randheer Singh Jee:

Author's Note, Bhai Sahib's Last Illness & Death;

During the last years, Bhai Randhir Singh suffered from partial paralysis of legs because he had to spend many years (17) in dark prison cells where he could not even lie down with legs stretched. He was fond of performing keertan for 36 hours at a stretch or to sit for days in meditation. His legs became weak. An attack of bacilli dysentery further aggravated his illness during the last nine months of his life but from his glowing red face, it was difficult to guess whether he was at all ill.

This information is available in the book mentioned above.

This might have been mis-interpreted by some folks and used against bhai randhir singh jee for various reasons.

I hope the above information was helpful and clear of any mis conceptions jeeo.

Credit goes to Dr. Trilochan Singh for providing this information in the introductory thesis of the book.

Bhai Sahib himself wrote citing the example of Brahmgyani Bhai Bhagtoo jee, that some Gurmukhs in their end days briefly suffer from some ailment but Gurmukhs who have realized that they are not this body but reside in this body, don't suffer the effects of diseases. They stay absorbed in Naam and thus enjoy the divine Gurmat Anand. When a person is in divine Gurmat Anand, how can a mere worldly disease cause any suffering to that person?

Dr Trilochan Singh has clearly written that from the glowing red face of Bhai Sahib, no one could infer that Bhai Sahib was suffering from any pain.

Thanks for posting this message as it will reinforce the fact that Bhai Sahib was forever in Chardi Kala and suffered nothing. If 40 days of starvation in Multan jail did not cause any suffering to Bhai Sahib what could a trivial worldly ailment do to Bhai Sahib?
