cast iron?

what's the difference between cast iron and sarbloh? per my understanding, it's in the manufacturing process... sarbloh is heated and then hammered into shape, while cast iron is heated until it's liquid and poured into a mold. is this correct?

so the next question, can sarblohi singhs use cast iron? there's a lot of great cookware available out there in cast iron. we use it because it's better than steel for cooking and has the added benefit of adding iron to the diet, something important for vegetarians.

thoughts?

In my view it is acceptable it is still iron, but gursikhs from past and present always use the traditional sarbloh

The main thing is to cook in sarbloh whilst doing naam/banee.

Cast iron utensils, as Veer Vista jee pointed out, are acceptable but it is more desirable to use the traditional Sarbloh. Cast Iron utensils do release the Tatt of Sarbloh and for this reason are acceptable but most Singhs still use the traditional Sarbloh.
