ਗੁਰ, ਨਾਨਕ, ਨਾਮ ਬਚਨ, ਮਨਿ ਸੁਨੇ ॥੬॥
ਇਹ ਫਲ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕੈ, ਮੁਖਿ ਭਨੇ ॥ ਗੁਰ, ਨਾਨਕ, ਨਾਮ ਬਚਨ, ਮਨਿ ਸੁਨੇ ॥੬॥
This is an amazing and Choj-Vidaani Pauri from the last Ashtpadi of Siri Sukhmani Sahib. Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh jee has written that there are 20 rewards listed in this Pauri and that whether the seeker who Japs Naam asks for these boons or not, he or she gets them nevertheless. All 20 Rewards will be written and explained at a later date but now let's just do Vichaar of this Du-Pankiti:
ਇਹ ਫਲ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕੈ, ਮੁਖਿ ਭਨੇ ॥ ਗੁਰ, ਨਾਨਕ, ਨਾਮ ਬਚਨ, ਮਨਿ ਸੁਨੇ ॥੬॥
The Bishraams of these two Pankitis should be as stated above. The meaning of this Pankiti is as follows:
ਇਹ ਫੱਲ ਤਿਸ ਜਨ ਕੇ (ਗ੍ਰਿਹ) ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ, ਮੁਖ ਤੋਂ ਨਾਮ ਭਣੇ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ (ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ) ਮਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੁਣੇ।
In this Pankiti it is imperative that a Bishraam is placed after "ਕੈ" and "ਮੁਖਿ ਭਨੇ" needs to be separated out. In the first Pankiti Guru Sahib is saying that the above stated boons come to such Jann who says from mouth (ਮੁਖਿ ਭਨੇ). What should he say from mouth? This is answered in the next Pankiti. There are two things that a Gursikh has to say to obtain these boons - ਗੁਰ ਨਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ (ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ)। And in addition to saying Gur-Naam and Gur-Naam-Bachan, one also has to listen to them fully attentively (ਮਨਿ ਸੁਨੇ = ਮਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੁਣੇ)
Please note that the word "Naam" in the above Pankiti is a Dehli Deepak - ਗੁਰ ਨਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ (ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ)।
