Bibek & Patience

5 Gursikhs planned to go to KumarHatti to do Satsangat and Gurbanee Keertan. The following Gursikhs were
Bhai Ajit Singh (Delhi Wale), Harbans Singh Phatia, Shabar Singh, Mehar Singh & Chani Jee.
While travelling to KumarHatti the Singhs were really hungry. These Gursikhs were all Sarbloh Bibekee Singhs and therefore would only eat from Tyaar Bar Tyaar Gursikhs. When they arrived at KumarHatti there wasn't no one there, neither was there any Langar made. So they decided to go to Bhai Jeevan Singh (Uni Wale) house. At Bhai Jeevan Singh's house they always had Pinneya made. They set off on there journey to Bhai Sahibs, it took them 2 hours to get there on foot. When they arrived they were disappointed as nobody was at home. They Singhs then headed back to KumarHatti. There, they met Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Jee. Bhai Sahib said to them "where did you go?, Langar was ready for you here". Bhai Sahib knowing what was on the Singhs minds and what had happened with them traveling for something to eat. Bhai Sahib then told Bibi Jee, that these Singhs really want to eat Pinneya so let them eat that first. All the Singhs went quite and they learned a great lesson of patience for a Gursikh.

Effects of Sweet Speech

Bhai Jodh Singh Jees Singhnee and other Singhneea once prepared Langar for Bhai Sahib Randir Singh & Bhai Avtar Singh. After they had Langar, a Bibi Jee went to go wash their hands. While she was doing this Seva, Bhai Sahib noticed she was wearing a ring on the hand she was doing Seva with. He then asked her in a sweet humble way " This ring do you really like?, If you really like it keep it". Hearing such piercing and sweet words of Bhai Sahib, Bibi Jee was very happy and she took off her ring and never wore it again and any other jewellery. This is the greatness of of Sweet Speech. This is what GurbaNee tells us to be like.
